I founded COIN in 2014 for joint research on astronomical and statistical problems. At its residences, small groups live together and work on a few research projects.

The first residence
At the first COIN residence, separate projects used binomial and gamma regression for primordial star formation and photometric redshifts, and approximate Bayesian computation for cosmological inference from cluster counts.
